## About this site

How this site was built and how it has changed.

### A brief history

The site began in 2006 as a Drupal 5 site, which can be viewed on the Wayback Machine. It later moved through several Drupal versions, up to Drupal 7, and grew into an archive of writing, presentations and research materials. [Drupal 5 site on the Wayback Machine](https://web.archive.org/web/20060813095123/https://dominiklukes.net/).

A brief and incomplete migration to WordPress followed. In 2025 the site was rebuilt with Lovable, an AI-powered development platform, through a conversation between the site owner and the AI that refined features and design step by step.

In 2026 the site was rebuilt as a static site made with Astro for Cloudflare Pages. Every page reads in full without JavaScript, and the site publishes a Markdown copy of its pages and an llms.txt file for AI agents.

The content is licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0.
